This Long Beach kitchen was fully reworked around a larger center island and a cleaner prep-to-cook workflow. We installed full-height painted maple shaker cabinets with soft-close drawers, integrated pull storage, and new electrical access for small appliances. The perimeter and island were finished with quartz slabs selected for soft natural veining, paired with matching backsplash returns to keep the room visually calm.
Existing flooring was replaced with white oak engineered hardwood for warmth and durability. Lighting was upgraded with three pendant fixtures, recessed task lighting, and continuous under-cabinet LEDs to create evening ambiance. A full stainless appliance package, farmhouse sink, and performance faucet completed the space while keeping maintenance simple for everyday family use.
