This project began with a complete layout rethink to improve circulation, sightlines, and daily workflow. We replaced dark cherry cabinetry with a brighter two-tone system: painted maple shaker uppers to reflect light and rift-cut white oak lowers for warmth and texture. A full-height quartz backsplash and matching Taj Mahal look quartz countertops were selected to keep the space soft, cohesive, and easy to maintain.
The center island was expanded for prep, casual dining, and entertaining. Flooring was upgraded to wide plank white oak engineered hardwood, lighting was layered with oversized pendants, recessed fixtures, and under-cabinet LEDs, and the appliance package was modernized with a stainless refrigerator, wall oven stack, gas cooktop, and high-performance ventilation for everyday cooking.
