The owners of this 2,800 sq ft Burbank home came to us with a clear vision: replace their decades-old, dark and disconnected kitchen with a seamless, high-performance space worthy of serious cooking and gracious entertaining. The original layout suffered from an awkward peninsula, low-quality builder-grade cabinets, deteriorating laminate countertops, and a single overhead fluorescent fixture that left most of the room in shadow.
Our team of designers and craftsmen spent six weeks completely rebuilding the kitchen from the studs out. Every surface, fixture, and appliance was replaced. We reconfigured the layout into an efficient U-shape anchored by a generous center island adding 285 square feet of cohesive, purpose-built workspace while opening the sightlines toward the adjacent dining room and great room.
