Lori Higgins

Lori Higgins is a Kitchen and Bath Interior Design / Project Manager based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. She brings more than two decades of renovation and remodeling experience, guiding kitchen and bath projects from early planning through final completion.

As a self-employed design consultant since 2014, Lori helps homeowners clarify scope, specify finishes, manage budgets, and coordinate the moving parts of a successful remodel. Her earlier role as Kitchen and Bath Interior Design Project Manager at The Home Depot (2002–2014) built deep expertise in renovation workflows, subcontractor coordination, and teaching remodeling fundamentals to the public.

Lori’s strength is translating design intent into buildable plans—balancing aesthetics with realistic budgeting, material lead times, and construction sequencing. She has taught classes covering plumbing basics, painting, and design choices so homeowners feel confident navigating their options.

In her writing, Lori focuses on project-management clarity for kitchen and bath remodels: how to set scope, avoid change-order surprises, and make finish selections that hold up in daily use across Los Angeles homes.
